This information is updated every 30 minutes. When a person's information is entered into the Orange County Corrections Inmate Management System, that information is updated to this listing within 30 minutes. When a person is released from jail, they will no longer appear in these listings. The quick update speed means you get current information, but recently released inmates may still show up for a short time before the next update runs.

To use the search, enter the inmate's last name. You can also add the first name to narrow results. Click search and the system shows all matches. Results display full names and booking numbers. Click on a name to see a pop-up with full details including the person's picture, race, gender, age, booking number and date, bond amount, last known location before arrest, current cell location, case status, arresting agency, police case number, charges filed, court case number, and court location.

Daily Reports and Statistics

Orange County Corrections provides several other reports beyond the current inmate search. The Daily Booking List shows all inmates booked during the 24-hour period beginning at midnight of the preceding day. This report helps you see who was just brought into custody. You can check this list each day to track new bookings.

Inmate Population Statistics show race and ethnicity statistics for the current inmate population. This report updates daily. It provides a snapshot of who is in the jail at any given time. The statistics help researchers and the public understand the makeup of the jail population.

The First Appearance List updates daily and shows inmates scheduled for their first appearance before a judge. At this hearing, the judge informs the inmate of new charges and sets bond status. First appearance happens seven days per week, including holidays. This list helps families and lawyers know when an inmate will go before a judge.

Enter the inmate's last name in the search box. The last name is required, but the first name is optional. Adding the first name helps if the last name is common.

Click the search button to see results. The system displays a list of all inmates whose names match what you entered. Each result shows the full name and booking number. Click on a name to open a pop-up window with complete details. The pop-up includes the mugshot, physical description, charges, bond amount, and location in the jail.

If the person you search for does not appear, they may have been released already. Remember that released inmates stop showing in the database after the next update.
