Enter a last name or first name and hit search. You can also filter by booking date or gender if you want. The search shows people who are in jail now and some who got out. State Prison Records for Riverview
If someone from Riverview got sent to state prison, they move out of the county jail and into the Florida Department of Corrections system. The FDC runs all state prisons in Florida. You search for state inmates at pubapps.fdc.myflorida.com. This is not the same as the county jail search. The FDC site shows only people in state prisons or on state supervision. Use the Inmate Population Search to find who is in prison now. Use the Inmate Release Search to find who got out or is set to get out soon. The database updates weekly for most info and nightly for release dates. All these searches are free. You do not need to sign up or pay anything.
For help with FDC records, call the Bureau of Admission and Release at (850) 488-9167 or send an email to dc.release@fdc.myflorida.com. You can also file a public records request through the online portal at floridadoc.govqa.us. The FDC main office is at 501 South Calhoun Street in Tallahassee. Call (850) 488-7052 for general questions. If you need info on someone who went from a Riverview arrest to state prison, the FDC is the place to search.
Contacting Riverview Inmates
If someone from Riverview is in a Hillsborough County jail, you can stay in touch through video visits or phone. Hillsborough jails use video visitation. You do not walk into the jail for a visit. You sit at a video screen. You can visit onsite at the jail or from home with a remote visit. Onsite visits are free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for up to two hours. Other times and remote visits cost per minute. You sign up online and pick a time slot. The system only lets each inmate have so many visits per week, so plan ahead.
Inmates can call you from jail. These calls are not free. The person who takes the call pays a fee or the inmate uses money from their account. You can put money in an inmate account using a kiosk at the jail or an online service. You need the inmate full name and booking number. The money goes into their account and they can use it for calls, commissary items, and other things. Mail is also an option. Send letters to the jail address with the inmate name and booking number. Do not send cash in the mail. Use the kiosk or online deposit for money.

Note: All calls from jail are recorded except for calls between an inmate and their lawyer.
